Affiliate disclosure
Where we are today
eBike Verdict intends to fund itself through affiliate advertising programmes, which pay a commission when a reader buys through a link. We are not in one yet.
That means every outbound link on this site is an editorial link: it exists because you need a
way to check a current price, not because it pays us. Those links carry
rel="noopener" and are not marked as sponsored, because marking a link sponsored
when no commercial relationship exists would be its own kind of dishonesty.
Our affiliate partners
None. As partnerships are confirmed they will be listed here by name, with the date each one started.
What will change when we join a programme
-
Links that are part of a paid programme will carry
rel="sponsored", as Google's own guidance on qualifying outbound links requires. - Every page carrying such a link will show a disclosure above the first one, not buried in the footer.
- Each link will be visibly labelled, and will continue to name the retailer it goes to, so you always know where you are about to land.
- The partner will be named on this page.
What will not change is which bikes we recommend. Our selection criteria are published in full on how we test, and revenue is not among them.
Editorial independence
We do not sell bikes, hold stock, accept payment for placement, or send review units back with a favourable write-up. Our rankings come from published specifications, Australian availability and road-legal status — and where we could not verify something, we say so rather than let a retailer's copy stand in for our own work.
If you think something on this site reads like an advertisement, that is a defect. Our corrections policy covers what happens next.
