Who we are

eBike Verdict (ebikeverdict.com) is an independent electric bike comparison website based in Australia.

Information we collect

Almost none. This site is a set of static pages. It has no user accounts, no forms, no newsletter, no login and no comment system, so there is nothing here for you to submit.

• Analytics — we currently run no analytics or tracking scripts on this site at all. If we add privacy-respecting analytics later, this page will be updated before they go live.
• Outbound retailer links — when you follow a link to a retailer, that retailer may set its own cookies. That is governed by their privacy policy, not ours. We have no affiliate programmes in place, so we are not passing tracking identifiers to anyone.
• Server logs — our web host records standard request logs, which may include your IP address. We do not use them to build a profile of you.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Retailers you visit through our links set their own, on their own sites, under their own policies.

Third-party links

We link to retailer and manufacturer websites, and to state transport authorities. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any of them.

Data retention

We do not store personal data on our servers. Any analytics data is aggregated and anonymised.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 you have the right to access, correct or delete any personal information we hold about you. In practice we hold none beyond our host’s server logs.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
