Our verdict
The T1 Pro is built around cargo capacity first, range second. A 624 Wh battery is the smallest of the three bikes we compare it against here, and Engwe's claimed 80 km range reflects that — expect meaningfully less once you load it up with actual cargo, since carrying weight is the entire point of a utility bike like this and it's also the thing that eats range fastest. Treat the 80 km figure as a best-case, unloaded number.
At 36 kg it's the heaviest bike we compare it against, which is typical for the cargo/utility category — a reinforced frame, rack capacity and a fat-tyre-adjacent build all add weight that a lighter commuter bike doesn't carry. The 250W hub motor and Australian-legal assist cut-out mean it's usable on public roads and paths without modification, same as the other two bikes in this comparison.
The practical issue right now is availability: we couldn't find a current Australian retailer stocking this exact model, and Fiido's own store doesn't ship to Australia (see the note below). If cargo capacity is the deciding factor for you, it's worth checking Fiido's other cargo models that do have confirmed AU stock before settling on this one.
This assessment is based on Fiido's published specifications and the Australian retailer listings we could verify — not on hands-on testing. We'll update this review with first-hand riding impressions if availability changes.
